Audience: Juniors, Older Girls Scouts, 4th – 12th Grades Scouts can bring a non registered GS friend or Young Ladies from the Community Date: May 7, 2011 Where: Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, NC Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Cost: $10 (includes t-shirt) registered Girl Scouts $11 (includes t-shirt and to cover event insurance) non-registered girls Needs: Bring a sack lunch (beverages will be provided) Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers Registration Deadline: APRIL 28, 2011 Special Note: Troop registration is not a requirement, but may as long as each participants information is provided
Come and enjoy a day of empowerment! Experience mixed martial arts, learn self-defense techniques, experience yoga and how it can be a stress reliever and hear from motivational guest speakers who have non-traditional, female careers. Not a Girl Scout? Learn more about the program and its benefits to young girls. Make a SWAP, learn what it is and exchange with a new friend. Not already a registered Girl Scouts? Have an opportunity to ask questions and register for the coming Scouting year.
Unfortunately, payments cannot be accepted online; therefore, once you have registered a mailing address will be provided of where to mail payment. It is strongly encouraged that payment be received by April 28th or you may pay at the door the day of the event. BUT YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PAY AT THE DOOR. Checks should be made out to Troop 790.
