Product Sales
Product Sales Team -- Connie Bixler (lead) and Tammy Robertson
(Assistant)
Girl
Scouts, Hornets' Nest Council sponsors two troop fundraisers through Product
Sales each year – magazines and CDs in the fall and cookies in the winter.
For many troops, these two sales generate enough revenue to fully support
their troop activities throughout the years.
Fall Sale
In the Fall (September-October) of each year, troops can participate in the
Fall Magazine Sale. This is a special opportunity to renew or sell magazines
with family and friends during the United Way blackout period when no other
troop fundraisers are allowed. The troop gets to keep 20 percent of the
cost of each magazine, book, or CD sold. It is a great way to raise money
for your troops activities during the long stretch before cookies. Remind
all your family and friends each year to renew their magazines with you
through QSP sponsored by Readers' Digest.

Winter
The 2008 Girl Scout Cookie Sale was a great success. Cab II sold
more than 64 thousand boxes of cookies! This year’s new flavor will be Dulce
de Leche, a cookie inspired by the classic confections of Latin America,
rich with milk caramel chips and stripes.
New technology and Cookies!!
We have a new cookie system this year produced by the Little
Brownie Bakers. You may not have to physically deliver any paperwork for
the ‘intial order’ or for the ‘final paperwork’. We hope to manage most of
the cookie sale and paperwork on line!!
